-What you see is NOT always TRUE
They always say,
"SJI-ans?? Ang aarte, ang babastos.. Parang hindi from private school and most especially from a Catholic School." I might have believed them before, may be because of my observation too. But as what some of the teachers say, it's really our nature to be like that. It's may be somewhat
maarte to the eyes of others, but the truth is, it just shows that somehow, we, the SJI-an Paulinians, have class on acting things out.
Well anyway, back to their sayings. People from other schools or people around whose eyes are on us, who have always something to say about us. You know that something, something that pulls us down.
But I guess, they were all WRONG! I just realized that we really have the characteristics of being a true Paulinian(kasi they often say na, dahil lang sa uniform namin..) When the typhoons came, from the bottom of our hearts, we realy donated things that could help to the victims of the typhoon. Swear, it was a thing that lighten up our feelings.
Last thursday, what we had on our Homeroom, my classmates who went to the Linis Arangkada shared their insights on what they had experienced. They had tols us that, there were really places here in Candon that suffered so much due to typhoon Pepeng. ( We were so lucky that our barangays didnt experience those things.) As what my one classmate said-- "When God gives something like a calamity, He doesn't let everyone be into it so that there will be ones who will help the victims." And that's what happened. We, the students from St. Joseph Institute were lucky enough that we have to help the one who suffered. One thing that made me somewhat happy, they wanted SJI-ans to go back and help again. :)
